You folks have probably figured this one out on your own,but sometimes you need a quick background, and I LOVE the look this gives!

The boring stuff:
This tutorial was written by Maeve of Maeve's Worldİ on July 6, 2002. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, and not to be construed as a deliberate infringement.
Since I feel anyone *could* have created it, I do not claim any personal rights or privileges for its creation, distribution or inclusion in any other tutorial group, website or collection. As a matter of courtesy and curiousity, I would appreciate an email and/or text link (http://www.maevesstuff.netfirms.com) should it be used elsewhere.

No special materials, just PSP7.
Simple Filter's "Quick Tile" is helpful.

1. Open a new window, 200x200 transparent.

2. Choose any color, and flood fill. For the header I used #A4FFD6.

3. Apply Noise, 25%, uniform.

4. Apply motion blur, 40 pixels, 45 degree angle.

5. Duplicate layer1, then "Image/Mirror".

6. On the same layer, change the opacity to 50-60%. Merge layers & apply "Sharpen/Sharpen More" twice. The result will be a lovely linen texture.

7. Make a 100x100 selection & crop. Apply Simple Filter "Quick Tile", and save.

Quick, easy, and you can tailor the color quite handily.
